Monash BEST is a growing team which contains multiple sub-teams that require communication and coordination. The operations team is responsible for this behind the scene coordination. From event planning to financial management, the operations team aids in the overall functionality of all the sub teams at Monash BEST.
The operations team has students from the engineering, business and commerce faculties. With this diversity, it is well equipped to understand and help tackle the unique problems that other sub-teams are tasked with.
Moreover, the operations team is dedicated to establishing and maintaining connections with relevant industry partners, further enhancing Monash BEST’s capabilities and opportunities.
Event Planning
Events keep the team running smoothly. From industry events to University showcases, it's important that Monash BEST keeps its team members in high spirits. Planning events is an integral part of the success of the team.
Social Media
Maintaining a social media presence is used as a medium to showcase the great work that all the different sub teams create. The operations team takes this responsibility and runs the teams various social media accounts.
Sponsorship Outreach
A key part of the team’s success is maintaining & establishing sponsorship within the Australian tunnelling industry. As a team with a focus on providing technological advancement in the tunnelling industry, its important that industry experts are providing the team with advice and support. The operations team is tasked with maintaining these relationships & forging them.
